TLC Nursing Services was established in 1996 by Therese Begley.
Initially named "TLC Nursing Agency", Therese quickly identified the need and requirement for a total nursing care package by private home care patients. She painstakingly sourced and built up a database of qualified nurses who had that extra caring quality that we look for in all our nurses and caring staff.
We specifically match individual Nurses and Care staff to Clients to ensure that our Clients obtain the maximum benefit of hiring a TLC staff member. We tailor the total nursing care package to the needs of our Clients.
TLC Nursing Services also provides Medical, Bathroom, Home, Bedroom aids should the need arise to enhance our patients quality of life.
As part of our service to the wider community we also hire short or long term or sell light and heavy duty attendant or self propelled wheelchairs at very competitive rates

The Agency carries out a rigorous vetting process on all staff to ensure that they are fully qualified and meet all of the healthcare sector requirements. Each person registering with the Agency is interviewed by the Owner and Managing Director and must provide the Agency with the following:
- Certificates of Qualification (Nursing and Educational)
- A valid Manual Handling Course Certificate.( Must show completion date within two years).
- A valid C.P.R. Certificate.( Must show completion date within two years).
- Two work related nursing references
- A current Garda Clearance Certificate
- Any Relevant Medical History
- We provide qualified skilled professional nurses and nursing aide staff to hospitals, nursing homes, residential care units, public and private industry nationwide. We also provide nurse accompaniment to international destinations
- Our pay rates are set by the Irish Nursing Organisation
